About the event
The word "pranayama" is derived from several Sanskrit roots:
Prana means "the vital force of life"
Yama means "control" and
Ayama means "extension" or "expansion"
Breath is a symbol of prana, and pranayama can be understood as methods of expanding energy and life force through deliberate control of breathing.
In this workshop you will become even more aware of the importance of breathing and how you can use it. We will do several breathing exercises that aim to:
Increasing lung capacity
Better oxygenation of the brain and the entire body
More energy
Reducing stress and anxiety
Decreased mental overload
Accessing the parasympathetic "rest and digest" mode of the nervous system
Preparing for meditation
This workshop is for everyone who wants to deepen their pranayama, whether they are beginners in yoga or experienced.
Recommendation: do not eat at least 2 hours beforehand.
